All behavioral IB Superday: Is this normal?
Hi guys, last week I had an all behavioral super day at a BB; I'm not diversity and did no networking, but I am at a target. Is this normal. I feel like I did all my prep for nothing. The only technical thing that came up was what's happening with the Fed raising rates.
What is your major? This is a bit odd but if you are studying something completely unrelated to finance that could be why. If you do study econ or finance, I have no idea why your super day was only behavioral.
Yeah, I'm studying English - I didn't know they considered a major when thinking of technical questions.
Yea this often happens. Wouldn't worry or anything. Always better to be over prepared I guess.
OP this is normal. Are you HYP? Did a JPM superday 2 years ago and had the same experience. Econ major.
Yep. In fact majority of the banking hiring decisions come down to the behavioral portion of your interview. The technical part of this job is not rocket science, and people don’t have to throw you a bunch of technical questions to tell that you’ll be competent for the job
went to a target and had the same thing at a BB. was this BofA by chance?
bump
I think if you’re not a finance major they don’t go as hard on you.
Every superday i've completed had barely any techs.
Which banks did you do SDs for?
not EB RX
Mostly BB and two EB
