Am I Cooked?!??

I know this isn't a forum predominantly for high schoolers looking for advice, but with my current academic standing I am unsure of my chances to break into IB in my future. On a semester basis, I started out high school with a 2.7 GPA and climbed all the way to where I am now - with a 4.1 as a senior in my first semester. Due to extreme low averages, my cumulative GPA is only a 3.43, but I managed to land a 1560 on my SAT. APs taken: Environmental science (got a 4), AP Stats (got a 5), currently taking AP human geo, AP calc AB, and AP micro and macroeconomics. (My school only lets us start taking APs junior year so that's why I only have a few). My extracurriculars are just average, with no club leadership, no awards outside of school, only summer camp employment and other college summer camps. As well as creative passions like an apparel company and music production. But because of the large discrepancy within my GPA, I am unsure of where I should realistically apply. Here is my current list, in a semi-organized fashion: (side-note, I'm from Texas)

NYU Stern, UMich Ross, UT Austin Mccombs, Boston College, UChicago, UIUC, UVA, Indiana University Kelley, A&M, Fordham, Penn State.

If anyone has any advice in the form of school recommendations, things I could do to make a difference, or anything that I should know, please feel free to comment. Thanks.

Just try to get into the best school possible. I know college admissions loves come up stories so I’d say shape your application around that improvement and shoot for the better Texas states schools. it’ll honestly be tough and not too much u can do at this point.

I graduated high school with a 3.7 weight 3.3 unweighted. I currently have a 3.4 in college and still broke into NYC banking from a non-target large state at a reputable firm. Definitely doable you just need to hussle

You have great scores and improving grades. Was in a similar situation with similar scores in HS and got into a few of those programs. Write some great essays and apply to all the schools. Best of luck with your college apps

If you don’t mind me asking, I’d love to know a bit about the specifics (said programs and your academics). Just to have a bit of a reference.

Best school you can and transfer up after a year. A perfect GPA your first year and solid extracurriculars combined with a good story will get you in a good spot.
