Am I Cooked for IB
I go to a smaller school in Michigan, and we have some ties to GS, but most are in their ER department. I got an off-cycle internship at an LMM firm as a sell-side analyst for my sophomore year, and I have been able to talk to some IB firms in Chicago, like HL, DP, and PS. Still, I think I am not going to get recruited for my 2028 SA role.
I have been thinking of transferring out to ND or UM for a better pipeline, and because of how hard it is to get people to respond while networking. I am just unsure of how the process goes for small non-target schools in the Midwest.
