Am I wrong for wanting to get laid off?

I'm a burnt out A2A and I honestly just have no drive to do this job anymore. I have unfortunately been getting crushed for the past 2 years and really haven't put as much time towards studying for interviews as I would have liked, so I feel like the best opportunity for me would be to get laid off and spend that time searching for new jobs. Am I wrong for thinking like this? The constant stress from working on deal teams that are too lean, unrealistic deadlines and incompetent seniors has made my life miserable and it feels as if I've hit rock bottom. What do I do??

I've been traveling, learning a new language, doing exercises, and spending some time with my family in the past two years. Start to interview with some companies recently though.
