Anyone get gifts from their firms for the holidays?

Perella Weinberg sent out a nice little beanie with their logo, 3 milk chocolate drenched Oreo cookies, and one of touch screen tools. I’m thinking overall $20 value?

Because everyone has to plug their prestige rather than just give an answer.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: "Long time lurker, first time poster. Currently at a top target undergrad (think Harvard, Wharton) and am trying to intern at a top tier BB this summer (think Goldman, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley) but I might look at EBs too. I hear they have leaner deal teams which might be better for my experience but the BB name and recognition is nice too haha. Like I know experience is good but I just want to shine to headhunters. Really depends on exit opps lmao. Definitely gunning for MF PE (think KKR, Warburg, Blackstone, TPG) after my stint. I like pizza."

Dayman?

My parents who never worked in finance, neither did the rest of our entire extended family, for some reason have a wells fargo branded beach towel. Its got the logo and like the horses on it. And none of us even bank with them lol.

Dude I was so confused when I got the blanket at first. It was unbranded and there wasn't a card in the box so I was wondering who would send me a blanket. Then I checked the shipping label and realized it was from Wells.

MS gave out a 1k bonus to “rank and file” employees which included first years

I got a nice promotion that came with a fat raise just prior to Christmas. New salary will make 2021 a wonderful year!
