Are there any FREE certificates I can earn on Linkedin to help my chances at getting a job in Investment Banks or Hedge Funds?
I dont want to pay thousands of dollars for a CFA designation. Nor paying hundreds-thousands of dollars for a IB/HF specific online learning course to earn a PASS badge. I am trying to use my Linkedin profile to connect myself with Investment Banks and Hedge Funds. Are there any well known "FREE" certificates in the finance industry that I can earn by taking a "FREE" Linkedin course and passing the end test and I get rewarded with an icon that I can post on my Linkedin Profile?
No. Online courses and a CFA also won't really help you.
Nobody cares about the linkedin courses. Try something like the Udemy investment banking course
None of these courses or even a CFA will help you whatsoever. Don't waste your time or money, IB/HF do not care one iota about your LinkedIn.
What is your current job? IB/HF recruit from a very limited set of jobs, unless you are already in IB or a handful of other similar jobs, an MBA is going to be the only way to break in.
