ASIA (US OR UK SCHOOLS APPLYING FOR SG OFFICES) IBD SA 2016 RECRUITING
Hi,
I'm currently a Singaporean studying in a US target school. Applied mostly to SG investment banks, just wondering whether any foreign university peeps have gotten calls from the other SG offices for first rounds already.
I know JPM is already into second rounds as of today. But just wondering whether US or UK based people have received first rounds for SG office applications already.
Do appreciate if you guys respond to this thread!

Hey I go to a target in London. Applied to MS and GS in Singapore around mid-October but haven't heard back yet. Will let you know if something come up

Hey just letting you know that the asia recruit team @ MS in SG just contacted me. This could mean that they are still doing their recruiting.

Can you tell me more about your details? Which division was that for? Are you target or non-target? By "got" did you mean receiving an email or doing the actual interview? Btw when did you apply? Thanks a lot.
I received an email and I applied in early October for IBD.

All the BB in SG had given out 1st rounds. So if you didnt receive anything by the end of this week, then it is highly likely that you got dinged.
Oh btw I did not apply for IBD but ER at MS and GIR at GS

Hey I haven't heard back from GIR at GS or ER at MS yet. MS sent me an email asking about my graduation date. However I just did the interviews for Tech at GS without knowing much about coding. They asked a lot of competency-based questions and some programming-related stuff. What I get from the experience is that they will tailor their questions according to your resume so you must know what you put on your resume as well as basic competency questions like leadership, teamwork, communication, etc. Tech is not related to what you applied to but I hope it helps because I think that's how the interviews usually go.
Got MS second round yesterday. US east coast.
Thanks. Haven't heard back. HR replied on Dec 8 saying second round will be out "in these two weeks"
Is it from HR or interviewer?
HR called. It will be with an associate. I thought second round would be with more senior interviewers..
Got second round with MS today. Skype interview scheduled same day
