Does anyone know about what banks' (BBs/EBs) groups have separate recruiting processes? For an example, I know that CS REGL, FIG, and Energy all recruit on their own. Does anyone know about any other banks that do the same, and which groups?
hey, can you talk more about what Citi FIG is like? Is it comparable in exits to other Citi groups and how does it rank against CS FIG? Everyone says FIG pigeonholes you so would be great to learn if that's been true in your experience

All I know so far: Citi: FIG CS: Sponsors, private funds group
For Citi it's just FIG, everything else is generalist
Source: FIG Banker I interviewed with
LatAm and RE are separate too I believe

BofA LevFin is on their own (for Charlotte at least)
Not the case in NY per my pal interning there this summer, he applied generalist
Yeah for NYC its generalist IB. It's CapMKTs for Charlotte.
CS FIG has its own recruiting process.
a bunch of the LatAm groups have their own recruiting process
Pretty sure this is the case for JPM at least.
I agree with Citi FIG and BofA Charlotte LevFin. Both had recruiting separate from the rest of the bank at my school.
I wish all FIG, Natres, weird groups did separate
Barclays Houston (NatRes) does as far as I know. Maybe LA and MLP?
