Bank of America EGRC
WTF does this group actually do? Heard they are recruiting separately from BofA's regular group placement. Are they on the same level as BofA's more typical cov/product groups?

its generalist middle market, basically like GS's Cross Markets Group. Heard from someone in a different coverage group that their hours are capped at 80 a week lol. No idea if its true though.
They might be capped at 80 but they definitely do not hit that cap
Do bonuses reflect that?
Good culture. Have networked w numerous ppl there and do not work most weekends. But. You don’t want to do mm banking if u don’t have to. And get paid to reflect that
Generalist program within the middle market like others said. Primary industries include industrials and TMT, focused on high growth markets. All bankers are nice and typically focus on one sector (ex: an MD that focus on high growth tech). It seems to be decent exposure on MM deals with variety of products. They have regional teams as well (NYC covers east coast, LA covers west coast)
They do a lot of work with sponsors, too. I think it’s mostly local PE shops, placement is similar and unlikely to go to a MF PE (though anything is possible)
Bump
Have a close friend that works in EGRC. They are a MM group so will cover much smaller deals than typical coverage groups at BOFA.
It appears that a lot of their deals are brought in from Ultra High Net Worth client’s companies from their private banking business.
They have a broad exposure to different products but are much less active for M&A compared to other MM banks (Baird/HL/WB/JEF) as they tend not to be the lead advisor and do a lot of debt underwriting.
If you are looking for classic M&A experience EGRC would not be the best choice but heard their culture is really good and hours are much better compared to the street.
Hey man would you mind PMing me? I have a few questions
Where are these offices located for groups like BofA EGRc, JMP MM/RIB, Goldman CMG etc.? Saw a few different people on linkedin in a few spots but couldn't lock down a definite answer.
