Bank Of America in 2020
I’ve seen a couple of these popping up (for CS and JPM). I’ve heard BofA has been doing well and growing its banking practice but all current threads on BofA are pretty outdated. All thoughts are welcome but specifically looking for: - Top groups - Culture - Exits opps - How they stack up against other BBs
Curious about FSG, LevFin (NYC vs Charlotte), C&R, and Healthcare.
bump bump
BofA is very product-strong. Top groups in terms of Buyside Exit Opps are: LevFin, M&A, FSG, and REGL (for RE PE). Culture varies by group.
How does their M&A group stack up against some of the other mid-tier BBs? Also, is there Levfin #1?
All the mid-tier BBs' M&A groups will get you interviews for top buyside opps; you'll be fine if you can get placed into any one of them. LevFin has been #2 on the street, only behind JPM.
Asking because I have an offer from BofA. For buyside exits to MF or UMM should I try to place into LevFin or M&A?
FSG places the best into MF/UMM, followed by M&A, and then LevFin.
Decent checking and savings accounts, but the CD interest rates could be higher.
REGL and LevFin
