Starting in late July? Where'd you hear that from? I haven't received an update yet; only that it's going to be in July.

Wtf is a gym stipend? Barclays pays you a paycheck and then you use part of that for the gym. If it happens to be the one in the building, great. If not, that’s cool too. Also the gym is run by a 3rd party. They may give you a new joiner discount though, can’t remember. To the other question, similar to a pretty large hotel gym. No pool, hot tub, or any of that. Pre-covid had some classes and they’ll try to sell PT once in awhile. I think they might’ve changed providers though so not sure what’s good with that

Wanted to bump this. Starting as a full-time IB analyst this summer. Have a few specific questions:

- What is the meal stipend in person (and WFH if different)?

- Does the firm pay for ubers home?

- What is the 401k match?

- Is there a gym in the building (if so, is it free)? and if not, does the firm provide/discount any gym membership or other wellness programs (e.g., fitness classes, mediation apps, etc.)

- Does Barclays give free access to any news sources like WSJ or FT?

- In general what other perks, if any, are offered?

Most Helpful

- Meal stipend right now is $25/night. In NY, I believe you have to use the corporate uber eats, in regional offices it's more lax about ordering/which app you use

- Yes and/or cars in NY

- 6%, vested after 4 years (edited after reading the below)

- Yes, unsure of membership dues, there are gym membership discounts through Perks At Work

- No

- Perk: you get to work for the Big Blue Eagle
