BB IB as general career accelerator

Currently 2Y out of college working in tier4 consulting firm. Studied econ/fin and went to target banking school. Have connections to a top BB coverage group through a family friend

Generally am not set on buy side career, but want to pursue this simply for the learning and career acceleration. Would you recommend BB IB as career acceptor if it's an option, if I am not set on PE/HF?Whenever I see anyone at an interesting ai/tech company in a strategy/ops/fin role, or even startups today(which I am more interested in) they seemed to do IB or MBB at the beginning of their career, so I feel like this is a foot into this world.

Any perspective would be helpful.
