Thanks for the response.

Im assuming you personally experienced a summer as an analyst at a BB? How was it? When did recruiting start? Am I late lol… and what role does networking play in the process? Is it similar to the US or more like the UK.

Thanks in advance

Yeah I interned there and then did just under 2 years as an analyst. It's very different to the UK and US from what i gather but I haven't been through either of those. Networking is much less important, almost doesn't play a part for the BBs at all. Timing wise the interns should have just started, recruitment is probably in the 2nd half of this year but I don't know for sure so will let others comment

Thanks for the reply.

That’s interesting. I hope this isn’t a dumb question but what makes up the case study? Is there any way to prepare for it?

Also just general questions - what are the hours ur Singapore SA are working currently?

Basically a deal pitch (i.e evaluate the potential for a M&A between Companies A and B or whether it is conducive for Company C to IPO in the current market conditions etc.). Hours are shorter now considering they are just staffed but I think 9am to 2/3am would be a good gauge once they are settled in. Unfortunately, the summer programme is meant to stress and stretch them to see who bends and who breaks.
