Being exhausted, still, how to impress my colleagues?

Currently doing an S&T internship in a BB, being placed at a desk for three months (not rotation). Having been here for one month, even through I tried all my best to perform well, my team seems not that impressed by my work.

They told me that they will only extend offer for the EXTREMELY WELL performed kids ( I doubt if they really have a headcount cuz the group's revenue is not that good). I am always the first reaching the desk and last leaving (pretty sure I have longest working hours in the whole division). Putting all my efforts to finish the tasks they assign, it seems that they don't give shxx to what I do. Everybody keeps asking me to help and all keep pushing me. I did intern in another lower-end BB before coming here, I created some VBA tools for the team and they were deeply impressed by my initiative, but now, all I do is to answer their requests of creating various new tools and it really takes time.

I feel like exhasuted and they all think I'm just doing what I should do. I don't have time to network / talk to others. But I really want to have something before the new school year starts. How can I impress them well given current situation? Shall I come back at weekend and prolong working hours everyday? Is there any other way that I can show motivation? Talking directly to team's head help?

Thanks for the comment.

It's hard for a big fish in a small pond to adjust to being a small fish in a big pond... now's a good time to ask yourself if you really want to work somewhere where your work won't be appreciated?

alexpaschYou can be performing well and not necessarily be getting pats on the back and "good job!" said to you left and right...
THIS - if they say you are doing the right thing, then just keep it up. Wrong industry if you're looking for constant emoting - they say you're good, then you're good. They say you suck.....then you suck.

Just a few more months, keep up the good job.
