Big 4 Lead Advisory / M&A Exit Opps

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the potential exit opps coming out of an M&A team from one of the big 4 accounting firms (in Europe). The team I'm looking to join works solely on lead advisory mandates, they have a separate TAS group that does due diligence engagements. Most of the deals are (lower) MM in size.

I've seen some related threads but it seems that many of these questions are referring to Big 4 corporate finance roles where TAS / transaction services is the main bulk of the work, rather than M&A advisory.

Would MM IBD be likely, or say MM PE? Would I get to lateral as an Associate after say 3 years?

(Doubt it's relevant but I have a target background in terms of education)

Thanks for any help!
