BMO really did a speedrun rejection on my application. This has to be the fastest rejection letter, like ever.

There was a job posting by BMO (Toronto Office) for the Corporate Banking Associate position. I applied at 9:56 am (I worked on the application for 3+ hours) and received a rejection letter at 10:06 am. Honestly, I am not even upset, I am somewhat impressed.

Relax, bro. HR at Canadian banks don't even care enough to go through your resume, let alone cross-check times with a post on an online forum.

They send out "You did not get a role" legit 2 months after a superday.

All of Canadian banking recruitment is a facade. They know whom they're hiring before a seat even opens. All the postings and interviews are 99% of the time for show.

I’d delete this. It’s best not to put emails or other documents up online, even if it’s an automated response. Avoids any chance of leaking information. Telling the story with paraphrasing would suffice.
