Bombed HH LBO Test

ANA1 on the desk for about 2.5 months now. Started getting headhunter outreach and for one of them, I was required to take a model test for LBO prep on training the street. Didn’t see detailed results but got a low 60’s score on the multiple choice and a 40% on the model (which marks numbers for accuracy so if one thing is off early on in the model you can get an extremely low score). Was told it won’t impact candidacy but how much do these really matter? Not even set on PE yet but just want to keep options open, obviously know I need to spend more time focusing on recruiting now but been a rough few months since starting due to personal/health issues

“I recently had my first roadmap meeting with a mentor from WSO Academy, and it was truly a pleasure. We had such an open, genuine, and insightful conversation. What I appreciated most was how closely his background, career path, and long-term vision aligned with my own ambitions. It was almost as if we shared the same goals and outlook on the future, which made the conversation even more valuable. We discussed a wide range of topics, including starting my career in an analyst role in the APAC region, potential pathways into private equity, and how to eventually transition into the U.S. market.
