Boutique IB vs MM PE Internship
Currently looking for sophomore summer internships in hopes for BB/EB IB the summer after and wondering between the two choices as a non target. The boutique IB is fairly close to where I live and has around 3 people (2 MDs and 1 analyst); their deal flow seems pretty good and one MD is an alum. The MM PE firm is a bit farther and has around 12 people for investment ops. Nothing is set in stone, but if I do eventually get offers from both, which would be better to take in the hopes of doing IB the summer after?
