Which nescac?
New England Small College Athletic Conference. Shorthand for all the New England top LACs (Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, Middlebury, Tufts, etc)
Swarthmore not a nescac
People use NESCAC as a metonym for elite LACs, which swarthmore definitely is. While technically not part of NESCAC, it doesn't really matter because nobody is specifically referring to the exact constituents of NESCAC when talking about it.
And before the predictable "found the Swarthmore student" comment, I went to Florida.
First sentence: no they don’t. Second sentence: yes they do.
Not a knock on Swarthmore, which is better than some NESCACs. But people certainly do make these distinctions.
I went to a NESCAC.
Swarthmore is not a nescac. Great school but people don’t use nescac for strong LACs. Tufts is a nescac but it’s not even a small college, it’s a university
One of the ones listed below, does the specific school play a role?

plenty of little 3 alumni at CVP and Evercore + a few at Moelis, Lazard, Broadhaven, and there’s Hamilton people at Ardea (if you like FIG). send out some cold emails, be a chill person, nail your technicals and you’ll be good
What’s little 3?
Amherst, Williams, Wesleyan
The CVP recruiting may still be only open to the little three, but Evercore has a NESCAC recruiting team
