Breaking into IB

Anyone's got any advice for a second-year undergrad looking to work in IB in the future other than "don't"? Tips about interviews, resume building, self-development and how useful a Master's degree is would be much appreciated.

Make sure you have an effective additional section on your resume that includes your hobbies and things you like to do. I had something about how I liked watches and it was brought up in almost every interview I had. From what I found going through the process, IB recruiting can be narrowed down to two overall criteria: "can this person do the job" and "is this person chill". Having cool stuff that you can list on your resume and talk about in interviews can win you a lot of points in the chill department. The "job" part of the equation involves a decent GPA and relevant internships/extracurriculars. As for a masters program, don't worry about that unless you don't get IB out of undergrad.
