Breaking into IB CC student

Currently a community college student and Im well aware that breaking into to Ib is a tall task. Prior to transferring to an target or semi target school such as UCLA or UC Berkley as an junior would landing a search fund internship boost my odds for when I do complete my transfer as a junior to maintain competitiveness. I understand I will be at a slight disadvantage compared to my peers who did go straight to a 4 year rather than transferring but Im just trying to shrink the gap with this plan. Major is currently Buisness Econ and any tips for the future I should be aware of . Thank you in advance for anybody that comments they are all welcome.
