Buy into Citi as Treas unloads??

Hey guys,

Just curious to hear everyone's thoughts on buying Citi during the unloading process of the Treasury. With the treasury beginning to unload their $6B position and Citi's recent earnings a big hit, is this a go for a long-term buy?

Its a long term buy, but the treasury unloading their position will have short term effects on the stock price. I would buy now because you have the triple effect of treasury unloading a small stake, financials getting hit bc of GS, and market getting hit because of Greece.

FYI...Treasury has 7.7 billion share.

I plan on picking up some options when C is below 4.50.

I agree with previous posts.....it's a good longer term buy.

I would be worried about the effects of any reverse stock split that will surely need to happen sometime in the near future.
