CBS or Booth for EB recruitment

Is there any distinguishable difference between the outcomes for EB recruitment in NYC?

To me, if there is no difference in outcomes (or scholarship), the decision is simply based on location. This seems to be the case when looking at cross-admit data, which shows candidates choosing CBS over Booth.

I'd say they are both on par for IB recruiting, including EBs. Do note however that CBS (compared to Booth) is filled with diversity kids, so that might bite you down the line if you're a non-DEI candidate

Diversity kids have far easier recruitment. CBS props up its results via massive diversity recruiting. Booth lands those slots via better candidates. Thus Booth is the better option.

It means that there is a greater % of DEIs gunning for banking at CBS which could result in you getting screwed in case you're a non-DEI. There isn't a whole lot of merit involved in MBA IB recruiting, so be aware of that.

I'm at a BB and we're currently wrapping up recruiting for our summer class. I'd rather not mention the amount of pushback we got from HR regarding the composition of people we advance through each stage in the process or to the interviews (eg, candidate x is DEI so let's try to push him / her forward, maybe in place of candidate y that is not DEI...). I kid you not

I think CBS has the most international students of the M7, so while they may be DEI, I've heard internationals are having more difficulty with recruitment now.

Looking at the demo pages, they look about the same DEI wise.

Recruiting is a shitshow for international males, regardless of your background, language skills, or personality. I've seen plenty of sharp candidates with prior finance background and proper English skills (no accent etc.) getting hardship in the process for no apparent reason other than the fact that they mostly have international experience or don't fit into any diversity bucket. It's just the reality a lot of folks have to face and cope with.
