Was never even remotely on… have they completed a deal since inception in london 💀💀💀

I applied last year and I never understood this.

Why do they recruit in this strange manner when so many kids will have signed contracts from the top BBs / EBs, by the time they do ACs? Do they poach talent

Got the LinkedIn message from an RG uni not listed above as a non diverse candidate but did an IB spring and multiple summer internships  though have zero expectations of anything here

They do - Dartmouth reached out this year to people who had completed SAs elsewhere - believe it is done on a needs basis though so may not take place every year/at the same scale every year

I applied through uclcareers too but seems like some ppl were specifically reached out to :/

You can get into process without being contacted btw if you network with people at firm (friend did last year)

looks like only people that got VI were those reached out to by DP.

fuck bristol tracker btw for posting it so all the plebeians could apply - didn't work either way

Yeah I wonder how many non-target apps they got as a result of that…

What kind of profile did one need to get contacted? (I just applied through uni careers platform).

Based on what criteria did DP reach out to candidates?

All the rest, who didn't got messaged by them, are automatically rejected?

It doesn't sound fair, does it?

meh they base it off their headhunting experience, trying to minimise the extra work they have to do whilst maximising the amount of good candidates found.

Sure they might be a future MD superstar at a tier-3 uni, but the large pool of competent candidates resides in target campuses with previous internships. Its easier to just select for the latter

ty sir

Weird mixed competition in London; you have MSc studnets and spring week undergraduates competing for more or less the same roles, but the advantages and edges of each group are different

I will keep fighting in the battlefield of SA

They hired a lot of analysts this year so SA class might also be bigger next year

Does anyone know what the networking event actually is?

Sounds like a bunch of students just crawling for attention, do they select candidates from this or is it just a formality?
