change of career (fresh grad in other field)

Hi there! I'm seeking advice on how to break into the investment banking industry, despite my lack of background. I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science about a year ago and don't have relevant academic or professional experience relating in any way to finance. I have been reading posts on this forum and m&i to formulate a game plan to break into IB.

However, I'm still confused about what my best steps should be if I were to start my path right this instant. Should I try to find finance-related positions, and after gaining some experience, consider pursuing an MBA? Would a MSF be more beneficial for me in my current situation over an MBA? Should I instead focus on studying/preparing for an MBA and try to secure a pre-MBA internship?

I understand that I'm at a severe disadvantage compared to others on this path, but I'm willing to put in the effort to do a complete flip. If anyone has suggestions or resources to help me form a clear plan of action, I would be very grateful.
