Choosing Spring Internship

Hey all!

I was fortunate enough to receive 2 offers for the spring. I am pretty sure I want to do banking, and here are the choices:

  1. Small (15 person) bank, would help out on anything they needed to get done. All deals are pretty small and the companies are family owned, etc. Close to school, flexible with hours. The bankers are nice, but not all have a background in banking.

  2. Larger, 50-75 person research firm, which manages small and mid cap funds. Would be doing fundamental research on these companies and admin work of course. Has had interns in the past go on to banks, but seems more equity research focused. More "legit" program because they have people every year and is bigger. Is 20 min farther away (adds up).

Which would you choose? Thanks so much!

2 unless you think you will get valuable experience besides answering phones and playing solitaire at #1.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
