Citi Chicago vs BofA Chicago

Anyone have intel on these two offices? Have personally heard Citi Chicago is pretty strong (has global head of M&A and global head of industrials in the office), execute their own deals, not too sure about exit opps. Don’t know much about BofA Chicago, have heard that they don’t execute their own deals and spend a lot of time pitching (might be outdated), also not sure about exit opps. Also potentially considering lateraling to NY after a few years if that’s an important consideration. A bit torn between the two offices, and when I spoke with a BofA associate he said “the BofA name will carry you much further”. Anyone have any insight/thoughts?
