Just got accepted to Citi EID 2026 NYC for the Investment Banking track. Has anyone heard back? And to add on, how useful is it for securing first-rounds/superdays?

Can get an accelerated first round if your mentor likes you. Build a good relationship with them and you should be in a strong spot.

Not exactly, but I think they want to hire out of EID. Gives them a good opportunity to get to know you outside of interviews. If you show your mentor you are genuinely interested and you know your stuff, odds are probably pretty good.

eid is a recruiting hedge. banks fill seats early to reduce variance.
conversion rates are high. it is cheaper to hire you now than run a full process later.
treat the mentor pairing as a behavioral exam. be normal. it is yours to lose.
