Citi or Lazard?
Which FT offer would you take? Mostly thinking about exit opps here. How do they compare in terms of PE/HF placement?

Career Resources
I think this is a toss-up based on your preference of BB vs. EB. Citi and Lazard are both commonly lumped with the 4-6th BBs and EBs, respectively (BofA, Citi, Barclays vs. PWP, MoCo, Laz). Laz pay almost certainly higher, but that's mostly a wash if what you're worried about is exits.
I think LAZ/PWP/MOE = JPM is more accurate, especially given recent exits
Lazard and don't look back. Don't think it's particularly close unless you're in a Citi coverage group and need to be in that sector.
Lazard exits are better. Know a bunch of kids from my school who leveraged Citi offers for Lazard but never the other way around.
Just in last few years, they've sent multiple kids to Carlyle, CD&R, Vista, Oaktree, Centerbridge, American Securities, TH Lee, L Catterton, AEA, Lindsay Goldberg, NEA, HIG, etc. Plenty of other good exits (Silver Point, TPG Growth, GTCR, TA, Summit, Cerberus, Siris, Ares, Harvest, etc.).
Citi has some good groups (M&A, Industrials, Sponsors) but I'd definitely take Lazard.
Absolutely Lazard.
Lazard. But the people there are trash
