Citi - regional offices - changes to get FT
Hi guys,
As discussed in previous forums the major hubs of CITI will get a FT but many of the regional offices have not obtained this chance.
I would like to hear your take on the chances decreasing or increasing for the regional offices in Europe for instance to get full-time upon completion as a result of the main hubs being secured FT?
thanks!
pretty sure there is no chance of this happening. if they were planning on having regional offices be FT conversions at 100%, they would’ve specified it in their initial emails. I think regional offices are 50% conversion or max like 70% as opposed to big hubs with 85-90% conversions. personally, I think there’s a chance especially if the internship doesn’t get to show off the interns as well as they could, but odds are that they don’t hire everyone
What causes the lower return rate with regional offices?
I’d say just spots available and headcount. Some regional offices with small teams are able to hire extra interns during summer with budget to promote competition and have a selection on who they want to hire
