Clueless about sophomore summer

Im a rising soph. As im navigating this whole ib thing ive never been more confused with all these timelines and how ridicilously early they are. Am I too late to apply for sophomore summer 2025 internships? Also what should i even aim at doing? There were some for morgan stanley specifically for sophomore summer 2025 but they were in relation to "institutional equity" or other things unrelated to ib? Would it be a waste of time applying to those even though its part of morgan stanley? I was looking at goldman too but when i put my graduation year 2027 no opportunities showed up

Can someone just please clue me in on these application timelines, for bbs, ebs, etc. Some people also say smth about doing pe for sophomore summer. Im just feeling absolutely clueless at the moment and desperately need some guidance

Is it worth applying for ms ones that arent related to ib? Or should i find an internship directly related to ib?

Probably 95% of sophomore programs at large institutions are DEI programs. You are better off trying to network into a boutique and/or regional IB/PE internship for sophomore summer if you aren’t a woman/DEI
