Hi, I am recruiting for a sophomore internship (summer 25) and planning to cold email a small boutique bank in my hometown in the south. I go to a target school and the firm I found has 2 alumni.. the CEO and an MD. 2 questions:
1. Which should I email? Or email both?
2. Is it too early to be networking with them/ reaching out about internships?

I think you should see if there are other similarities between the 2 alumni outside of them going to the same school (e.g. similar interests etc). If indifferent, you should try for the MD first. I dont think its too early as you want to reach out now to establish a relationship versus reaching out when its intern recruiting season.
