College Advice: Williams, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, Haas, Cornell or UVA?
I am a non-diversity candidate and interested in pursuing Healthcare IB. Hoping to return to the Bay Area, but do not care extremely strongly about that. Somewhat sporty.

No you're not
Whatever you do don’t go to Williams or John’s Hopkins. Good arguments for all the other choices. Just my two cents, and congrats ofc
Dartmouth
Just don't pick a college based on where you think "you'll have the most fun." This is some of the worst advice you'll get on this forum. You're investing in your personal, intellectual & professional development, and it's way better to be making good money, feeling good about yourself, and living in a city that you like post-graduation - there is a lot of time to have tons of fun in your 20s. Your undergraduate years will be more enjoyable also if the hobbies & interests you like to pursue are aligned with the culture of the school. Also, I'd spend some time thinking about how important it is to go to the Bay Area post-graduation, or if you'd be open to living in another major city for a bit.
Based off of your list, I'd advocate for Williams / Dartmouth, but you have to be prepared for the idiosyncrasies of the two colleges. They're both much more academically intense than the other options, located in scenically beautiful yet isolated parts of the country, and offer a much more outgoing, cultish, athletic/outdoorsy culture for all students, not just recruited athletes. IB recruiting at both is stellar, with Dartmouth having a slightly wider name recognition but Williams also being intensely recruited given its size. In terms of graduate school placement, Williams places better on a per-capita basis and has higher resources per capita than Dartmouth, but the opportunities end up being the same. Both schools have famously loyal alumni networks, punching well-above the other options in terms of alumni generosity, and it's very easy to get internships at both through the alumni. Both schools have way less internal competitiveness among students than Cornell/Berkeley/UVa.
Dude Williams is a lower semi target if you don’t play squash or lax and isn’t even comparable to Dartmouth. This is just nonsense
Congrats on Williams…
Williams would be an incredible academic experience but for your desires probably Cornell or Cal.
