Consumer banking risk to IB pathways

I have been in consumer credit card risk analytics for 2 yrs as an associate. Performing well, saving the bank some money. I would like to move into a dcm or related front office IB role. I have a masters in math finance from a non-target, and have passed CFA levels 1 and 2.

Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to approach job hunting? Just began emailing IB MDs at my firm, and intend to continue until opportunities present themselves.
