Contact MD before the Superday??

Here is the situation for me:

Know one BB MD (head of a industry team) from an informal interview; he has been very nice sharing his experience in the industry and ect ect...

Supeday for the IBD summer internship position in this week.

So my question is should I email/ contact the MD before the superday (asking stuff like the superday tips, recent transactions and ect)?

In the current touch market, having one MD to back me up during the superday is definitely a big plus, but I'm not sure if I would turn out to be too pushy/ desperate to piss the MD off. Please advise. Thank you so much.

I would absolutely e-mail him. Always use the leverage you have, and an MD as your advocate is always very helpful.

I would send him an e-mail like this:

Mr. Smith,

Since we last spoke I have been utilizing your advice and it has been very helpful in my application process. I thought I would send you a quick note because I have a super day ________ (if its with his group then mention that obviously) and was wondering if you had any tips or advice on how to do well. If you have some time to speak in the next few days, please let me know. Thank you
