Corona Virus move SIE online?

Is there any chance that Prometric could move to offer the SIE proctored online to allow use to still take it before we start? Would FINRA even green light something like that?

I know a bunch of firms originally requested we have it done before June 1st but that's seeming less likely given Corona shortening the testing window.

Hey PHL97, I've heard that the finance exams such as the FINRA SIE are now being considered 'essential' and being offered again. You should be able to take them again at a proctored testing center for some states.

However, it also sounds like FINRA is moving to make these available online starting May 24? Here's the post stating that https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/remote-exams-finra-update And here's the FINRA blog post stating the same https://www.finra.org/rules-guidance/key-topics/covid-19/exams

Looks like they planned to have it out by May 24, but I don't see a further update, so it may be worth contacting them or asking your compliance officer/L&D officer to do so.
