I have doubts about my cover letter and i want your opinion about it. I you can help me please !

Dear Madam, Sir, Currently in my ultimate year in Corporate Finance at EM Lyon Business School, I would like to express my interest for an Investment Banking intern position at XXX. I aspire to join your firm for an internship starting from September 2018.

Through this letter, I would like to highlight the reasons why I want to join your team. Firstly, I aspire to integrate a French corporate finance adviser providing peerless financial services to a large and diversified companies such as XXX, advised on the acquisition of XXX in 2016 or advised XXX selling it 51% stake in 2018 to XXX. This wide range of clients, together with an international presence allow XXX employees to be exposed on challenging and complex operations where flexibility, expertise and creativity are the key factors of added value. Secondly, I understand the great opportunity that an internship in your team could bring to my professional project: to be involved in the various steps of an M&A process and allow me to contribute to the team’s performance.

Last year, I had the opportunity to achieve my internship as a M&A analyst at Baker Tilly Haussmann Corporate. My internship in M&A taught me how to handle a variety of missions and how to meet short deadlines while learning about the importance of attention to details. In this context, I worked on the origination and execution phases of several deals in multiple industries. For instance, I was in charge of preparing a Memorandum Valuation for a European Pharmaceutical Laboratory. Thanks to these experiences, I developed a strong capacity to perform market and company analyses in several sectors like Healthcare Sector and Consumer Goods. I also developed a good ability to conduct valuations based on transactions, trading multiples, and DCF methods as well as a strong capacity to handle research of potential buyers and targets.
