Cover Letters for All Applications? (PJT Specifically)
I want to apply for PJT Partners Strategic Advisory for summer 2026, but not sure if I should be submitting a cover letter or not. The application does not mention it at all, except for under this section in workday:
Resume/CV
Please upload all relevant documents (i.e. resumes, CVs, prompts or cover letters, if applicable) in PDF file type only (5 MB max). The system will parse the resume, but please review to ensure the information is correct.
But the section is titled just "Resume/CV", not mentioning the letter. I cannot find anything online either. In general, are cover letters expected for all IB roles? I don't want to waste my time if I don't need to nor submit in the resume section if that's not what they want.
