Not sure how it compares to other groups at CS. Probably a top 5 group in Houston though. Very good deal flow and exit ops. Heard good things about culture too.
My impression is that it is one of the stronger groups at CS after Sponsors/M&A/Technology. That being said, I have heard that it is a sweatshop (to be fair most decent groups in Houston seem to be). It used to be a top energy group and probably still a Top 5 BB in Houston after Citi and Barclays. Top 5 in Houston overall in terms of deal flow and exits (no specific order) are probably along the lines of Citi/Barclays/Jefferies/Evercore/TPH. Just my two cents
