Does anyone know anything about the CS LA financial sponsors group? Hoping to get more insight regarding prestige, exit opps (specifically West Coast PE), and work/life balance.

Really strong group with a legacy of talented senior bankers. Most analysts exit to MF/UMM PE. Culture and exits are a mirror image of Moelis LA. Have heard the people are great but first years get absolutely cucked. One of the most modeling-intensive groups on the Street. They led TPG's Direct TV deal over the summer. They run execution on a lot of tech LBOs.
Pulling from other threads: exits over the last 2-3 years (with analyst classes of 5-6) include Warburg, LGP, Oaktree, Clearlake, Ares, Silver Lake, etc.
LA has by far the highest revenue per head in the bank. But the analysts get absolutely cranked. A few kids in one of their recent SA classes chose to go elsewhere for FT (other groups, other banks) because the summer was too intense.
