Crushed in Early ID / Pipeline programs

Hi yall,

I'm diversity, but I go to a non-target and need visa sponsorship. I've been applying to some on-site, pipeline programs that recently opened. For some I did some networking, for others I just cold applied, but failed ALL of them. Of course there are still more opening up, but I'm starting to feel like I won't get into any pipeline events. I tried to ask people how they got accepted but they didn't even know. I have good GPA and I have some experiences so my resume isn't cooked.

What are the secrets behind these programs? How did you guys get in?

Appreciate all insights

If you are an Asian girl, you realistically only have a chance if you go to Ivy-level target. The only exception to getting in from non-target is when you are Black. Latino girls seem like a coin toss for them but they mostly go to target as well. You will have regardless have easier time compared to Asian / White dudes from targets during regular process so just suck it up. FYI, I've seen many non-diverse 3.9/4.0 with 2~3 relevant internships from target not even getting interviews while your profile should get you plenty of interviews if your social skills are not awful.

the amount of white "hispanic" guys I see in these programs is ridiculous lol
