CS Bonuses
Did a search and was surprised to not see anything on the news that CS would be deferring bonuses >50k over four years.
Two questions, for anyone who actually has knowledge.
1) Does this in anyway apply to analysts? (It doesn't seem like it could, since analysts are only there for two years.)
2) Does the deferral affect the entire bonus amount or just the marginal over 50k? i.e. if you get paid 70k, do you get 50 upfront and then 5k each of the next four years? Or is the entire 70k divided into four payments?
are they really doing that... yikes... insane.
From http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20110123-703925.html, it's minimum 35% of any bonus above the marginal over 50k.
Doesn't affect analysts.
