Easymoneysniper here. Which offer here will best give the best pure exits for MF/UMM vanilla PE? How much better are these two groups in terms of exits or are they fairly close to each other. Heard Jeff TMT was really strong and heard CS LFO&R exits to many strong mm funds with occasional name brands

That being said, both are pretty good groups as I understand it. Do you have a particular interest in LevFin? I find a lot of the stuff they work on boring. Also, is Jeff the tech group or M&T? Jeff doesn't have a TMT group. If Jeff tech, I would personally pick that. M&T at Jeff is okay not great and have heard senior culture not great. CS might still have a better brand name than Jeff at this point, but your job security is definitely something to worry about there. Jefferies, on the other hand, is a growing platform and is still putting up apps to hire analysts and associates rn. It's also not like you're talking about CS Sponsors or CS M&A or CS tech, which are by far the best groups at the bank. So yeah I'd personally pick Jeff tech

Ex-CS here so excuse some implicit bias, but from direct experience, LFOR exits have been solid for the last couple of years. For those that want to do PE, UMM/MF firms have certainly been on the table. To be honest, it’s been quite comparable to Sponsors for the last two years in terms of exits.
I’ve also heard that, as of late, Sponsors has not exited as well as they historically have but that could be because it’s a high bar. However, on the same train of thought, have heard LFOR has done well with exits with several incoming UMM/MF placements (perhaps better than sponsors, though I won’t argue that LFOR is a better group overall).
Bottom line - take the information in front of you and make an informed decision. Cannot attest to Jefferies; it may very well have good exits. Just here to give more insight that LFOR is solid too. If you want to do UMM/MF, you certainly have a shot coming from that group.
I would go with CS

From what I know. MFPE is possible from any BB but a lot harder to place from Jeff due to HHs sorting by prestige. Anyone else have datapoints or insights on this?
