DB 2026 performance so far?

How has IB done thus far in 2026 in the Americas? I know they've been slowly ramping up investment in the investment bank in the U.S. and 2024 was decent, but 2025 was less strong. Any updates on momentum/morale from those working at DB? Not expecting too much positive response given how much WSO shits on the European BBs but looking for some honest thoughts.

Atrocious in the US, almost embarrassing despite all investments made there.
Good momentum in EMEA. Back to the level of the other European investment banks overall but large discrepancies across sectors. Some are top 3/4 whilst others are worse than société générale

No mandates. Pipelines are dead. Then they axed people right before bonuses. Not a coincidence, never is. The ones left behind are buried, no relief coming. Every group, not just one. This isn’t a rough patch. This is the new normal and nobody’s talking about it.
