DB SA 27 timeline

Does anyone know what the SA 2027 timeline looks like for DB NYC? I was invited to an assessment after a few days (the email I received made it seem like this was a result of moving to a next stage) and I'd love to know if any of you have any insight. Has anyone received anything from them to the tune of a phone screen or first round?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Deutsche Bank (DB) typically follows a structured timeline for their Summer Analyst (SA) recruiting process. While specific details for 2027 aren't available yet, here's a general outline based on past threads and trends:

  1. Application Submission: Applications usually open in the summer or early fall of the year prior to the internship. For example, for SA 2027, applications might open around mid-2026.

  2. Assessment Invitations: It seems you've already received an assessment invite, which is a positive sign. DB often uses online assessments as an initial screening tool. These are typically sent out shortly after application submission.

  3. Phone Screens/First Rounds: After the assessment, candidates who perform well are often invited to a phone screen or first-round interview. This can happen within a few weeks of completing the assessment.

  4. Superdays: Candidates who pass the first round are invited to Superdays, which are usually held in late fall or early winter. These involve multiple interviews with senior bankers and are a critical step in the process.

  5. Offers: Offers are typically extended shortly after Superdays, often before the end of the year.

If you've already received an assessment invite, you're likely on track for the next stage. Keep an eye on your email for updates regarding a phone screen or first-round interview. Also, consider preparing for technical and behavioral questions, as these are common in DB's interview process.

Their process traditinoally runs behind most other banks (sometimes up to a month after). For SA '26 and '25, they did first rounds + superdays in March/April.
