Thanks for the positive feedback should I try to MM in my city or should I try to MM in new york that’s where I want to be? any advice helps

I'll be honest, MM will probably still be hard, lots of targets and semitargets landing at MMs. Would recommend going for LMM and regional boutiques.

Uphill battle. Honestly I went to high school in NoVa and the kids who went to Radford could barely fog a glass. If you’re smart you should be able to annihilate there. Your best bet is to get a 4.0 your first year and transfer ASAP to UVA. Even W&M would be better. I broke in from a complete non-target party school but it took a hell of a lot of networking and luck. I had a couple other options and looking back I would have gone to a different school or transferred.

It’ll be tough. I went to a non-target school in VA and worked for about 5 years before going to get an MBA. It is absolutely doable, but if you want to get in straight from undergrad you’re going to want to transfer to UVA, William & Mary, or W&L.
