Do Target Schools Still Need to do Hirevue for GS/MS etc?
Do target ivy leagues will ocr still need to do hirevue, or do they go through the traditional process/

bc most non-targets didn’t get the hirevue even if they had ~ 4.0
Target student- still do hirevues. We all do the same application; only difference is that banks may have school-specific teams and earlier recruitment timelines (plus the networking opportunities when banks come to recruit).

It can help you get a first round I guess. Sounds like it's about how you interview after that.
Disclaimer: I know very little. (I do go to a target though.)
TigerBull is exactly right- getting that first round is easier. When you have a school-specific team, and you're recruited earlier in the process, you simply have less competition (as opposed to nonTargets that all compete against each other in a general pool) for more open spots. After that- it's all on you to interview well.

If you get to the field five minutes ahead of the other team and the ref says start playing, you're probably gonna pick up a few extra points than the other guys.
