Off topic, do you know what the pay/hours is like for TAS?

Why is the decision one or the other?

I moved to TAS from a similar team just after I was given an early promote. I burnt a lot of bridges and put the old partners off side in a big way, but I would do it again in a second.

Pay wise, I got a 30% increase with an extremely fast promote. I didn't get an increase moving to TAS because I'd just had this bump. TAS billing rates are approx 30% higher so this does allow higher salary bands.

Think about what your long term ambition is. If all you know is tax what do you really expect to work in post b school?
