Has anyone done a case study in an interview for an associate-level position at EBs (Evercore / PJT / Lazard / PWP / Moelis) and can share some details?
EBs typically require more in-the-weeds work from associates — mine (re)instituted them after hiring a few too many ‘experienced’ MBA associate laterals with no clue what they were doing.

Deal experience, modeling test, technicals, and maybe a deck to mark up.
Modeling test at the associate level? What might that look like?
We don't do that at mine but curious how that looks elsewhere.

Expect some combination of AccDil, LBO, and DCF.
Just curious. What's a "deck mark-up"? Maybe we should implement that in our interviews xD
