My understanding is that the APAC Region is definitely a drop in the ocean revenue wise for many of the EU and US banks - as a result, the profile of what an EB is vs. BB in the APAC/Aus region might significantly differ to their usual status overseas. E.g. A Macquarie Bank in Aus > GS > DB etc. Or a Luminis Partners is up there competing directly with the UBS / CS of the Aus market. Love to hear some thoughts!
